I'm pretty sure we live in one of the most beautiful places on earth. I reckon heaven will be something like this, but without all the washing.
Paul has been taking some spectactular photos - and although I keep reminding him to put some on the blog, I don't think he's as much of a show off as I am, so I'll do it for him!
This first one was obviously when the vines still had leaves on them, so it was a few months ago, but it's just too pretty not to include.

This photo was a cover image for the Property Press here in Blenheim, and was given a 'Best Cover Ever' award. Not quite sure how you can top the 'best cover ever'?

Even in winter, the vineyards can still look great.

Mt Tapi, I love this photo! I think it would look really great in a massive print.

Shots from one of his helicopter jobs. Ahh, it's a tough job, but someone's got to do it!

This has got to be my favourite. We've got it on our screensaver, and when it comes on, I just have to look at it everytime. Way cool!

So while I've been playing with our gorgeous new baby, Paul has been busy keeping things afloat. I've got shoots booked in over the next coming weeks, I'm looking forward to dusting off my photo skills and getting back into it! I've got some new ideas I've been aching to try!

To all of you planning your wedding, this is well worth checking out! I even want to enter, and I've already been happily married for 14 years! Dietmar puts on a fabulous reception (and their Gelato - OH MY GOODNESS so yummy!) Notice Nic and Phill on the bottom, how cute are they?!

It's been a lovely first week, getting to know little Charlotte. She is an absolute joy to have around!
This was her and I just a couple of hours after she was born.

Only a week later, and she's already over having her photo taken!

I know it seems a bit greedy to have 6 kids - but when they keep coming out so cute, it's terribly difficult to stop! It's over so quickly, this tiny baby stage, and I'm loving every minute of it.
Thanks to everyone for your patience, I feel myself getting back into things now though - so very soon emails should be replied to quicker, photos edited again and packages will be sent out!

I realise things have been a bit quiet on the blogging front - and just in case you're wondering if that's because I'm busy with a newborn, well, it's not! I had hoped to have had this little bundle by now, but it seems that he/she is far more comfortable than I'd like! So the waiting continues, but as soon as we have news, we'll be posting it right here!
In the meantime, if you'd like to go look at something - go check out Clark Estate's new website, it's very nice, and I think the pictures have come up rather pretty, if I do say so myself!

This shoot with Shelby has got to go down as one of my favourites of all time. It was a couple of weeks ago and I have been busting to blog these pics, but needed to wait until after last night's formal to unveil just how gorgeous Shelby looked for the dance.

It seemed that everything came together perfectly! Not only did we have a beautiful young lady to photograph, but we used Old St Mary's Convent as our backdrop, and Paul worked his magic with the lighting!
Absolute favourite picture of the shoot:

Shelby is such a sweet girl, unpretentious and the camera just loves her!

I LOVE shooting at Old St Mary's Convent! There are so many places that are just stunning!

Thanks Shelby for being such a fantastic model, I hope you had a fantastic night last night! And Davina, I can't wait to show you guys all the rest!
All is still intact as far as my belly goes, sigh. I've stopped taking on any more portrait jobs for the time being (Paul is still busy with his commercial and architectural stuff though). But I'll be back in action once this baby is born and I can move about a little more easily.
As far as wedding bookings go, we're pretty well full up for this coming summer - with one space left in early December. Can't wait to take some more wedding photos! They start up again in September.
Today I had the opportunity to photograph Suzette and her boys Harrison and Declan. When I asked Suzette what she'd like to achieve today, she said she'd love to capture the special bond they have together, both the boys with her and the two of them together. And right from the get go, you could see that this family really do love eachother!

Although he was wearing shoes, I'm pretty sure Harrison is taller than Mum now!

The weather was pretty cold - I was amazed when I arrived at Rarangi that there was ice all over the road and the SAND! Although it looked really pretty, it was definitely not swimming weather!

Definitely brothers, these two!

There's something I really love about this shot, it's probably just the arty side of me coming out!

I love this series of shots - what a gorgeous looking family!

Cute!

Then off to town we went! Gotta have a feet shot.

How's this for a seriously gorgeous Mum?!

The boys did so well, it's not easy to be followed around by a strange waddling woman with a camera! And with Harrison not feeling 100%, I think they certainly deserved their promised pizza for dinner!

It was really great to meet you all today! Will catch up soon!
It's only about 3 weeks till baby is due, and I feel like I'm the size of a Mac Truck, and getting bigger! The time is certainly flying by. I've finally packed my hospital bag, and have nearly got the baby's room all ready, so it's just about showtime! Looking forward to meeting this new little person and being able to see my feet again. Will keep y'all posted!
