We were lucky enough to be able to shoot another wedding at Old St Mary's Convent on Saturday. This is absolutely the place to get ready for your wedding, everything about it is just beautiful!
Jodie's dress was so fantastic, I wanted to try it on myself! That would probably not have been a popular move, so I just took pictures of it instead.

Jodie absolutely glowed - I think the only time she stopped smiling was when she would tear up at the emotion of the occasion.

It was another 'cute kid' wedding, I could have taken pictures of these girls all day long, they were sooooo cute!

I love the emotion in all of the faces in this shot.

Meanwhile, down at the church, Michael's getting all ready for his bride to arrive.

Issy is just the cutest little thing, and everytime I had the camera anywhere near her she'd run to me and want her photo taken.

Walking down the aisle is serious business....

Jodie was well and truly ready to go see her groom!

Who was also well and truly ready to see her.

Don't they make a gorgeous couple?

Jodie and Michael are such a lovely and friendly couple. Congratulations guys, I wish you guys all the very best for the future! Looking forward to catching up again before you head back up to Auckland, to show you the rest of the pictures.
Yesterday Petra and Linton got married. But this wasn't just any wedding, it was intimate, simple and completely beautiful. It was held at the lighthouse at Cape Campbell.

Petra looked absolutely stunning, I knew she would!

This was the entire wedding, including bridal party and guests. Thankfully the weather was perfect, not too hot or cold - however it was rather windy!

After the ceremony we decided to take a walk up to the lighthouse. I called out to Petra to let her veil go, it would look great. And it did look great, for about 3 seconds, and then it took off! Thankfully Linton saved the day and retrieved it for her.

It was insanely windy at the lighthouse, so we really didn't stay up there for very long!

There is this really great little shack, and it's windswept and leaning just like everything else along the beach!

Back at the farm, we spent a little time hanging out with their horses. Note the ribbons around their necks!

And a few shots up on the hill where they're building a house. What an amazing spot it is!

Thanks so much for allowing us to capture your beautiful day Petra and Linton!
We've finally had the wedding I have been waiting for all year, my sister's boy Daniel married the lovely and ever-sweet Bailey. It was our honour to capture the moment of their day for them. It was such a beautiful day, I can already tell it's going to be difficult to keep the number of images here down!
The wedding was held at the beautiful Monaco Resort in Stoke. I had never been there before as we don't usually photograph in Nelson. We were busily looking for the place when we passed a beauitful looking little villiage - "Wow, that would be a cool spot for photos!" I exclaimed as we drove right past it.... So I was rather thrilled to find later that it was in fact the very place we were searching for. Score!
Looking out the window, Bailey could see Daniel waiting for her.

Dad's proud look at his girl about to be married.

Mum and sister, perhaps a little nervous at this stage!

Last minute lipstick touchup....

A moment with Dad....

And we're off!

Andrew, Daniel's Dad, took the ceremony.

This has got to be one of my favourite shots of the day - Mum's approval.

Then we headed down to Tahuna beach, and while the boys threw a rugby ball around - the girls and I had some fun.

The one thing Bailey wanted on her wedding day was to walk down the beach barefooted. Done!

Back at Monaco, and an opportunity for a couple more photos.

I love this shot of Andy and Sas.

I'm adding this shot in here because, for once, I can legitimately put myself in a family photo! Woohoo! (on the right)

First dance. Cute!

And then it was time for some serious 'getting down'!

There are so many more great shots, but this gives y'all a pretty good idea of how things went! It was a fantastic day to be part of!
Liz and Shaun's wedding was absolutely beautiful! It was held at Ngakuta Bay in the Queen Charlotte Sounds, and although the weather threatened to rain in the morning, it was a perfect day by the afternoon.
Liz is an amazing organiser, and she had every little detail planned out.

This was definitely one of those 'cute kid' weddings. Seemed like everywhere you turned there was another cute little person :)

see?!

Liz was piped in by a young bagpiper, he did a really awesome job!

Liz and Shaun were so thrilled to be married, and they didn't stop smiling all day!

And they were so natural in front of the camera, I barely had to direct them at all.

They had found these really cool boatsheds earlier, great find guys!

What an awesome wedding to be part of, thanks for inviting us in! Have a fantastic time away on your honeymoon!
Here are some more photos of Anna and Tim's perfect day. The ceremony was held at Tim's parents garden. Oh my, what an amazing garden it is! It's really more like a small park.
This has got to be one of my favourites of the day! Isn't Anna just a splendid bride?

Hair and makeup done by Deirdre at 'Locks and Lashes'.

Possibly the cutest bride's purse I've seen yet!

The beautiful ladies, ready to go!

Meanwhile Tim is waiting for his bride to arrive.

I love this shot, look at Tim's adoring face!

Just look at that cute little guy - Seth was completely oblivious to what was going on.

Sometimes the sneaky candids can be the most beautiful photos.

The lads.

And then they were off to Raupo Cafe for the reception. How's this for a stylish ride?

Marcel was there to start the evening off for everyone introducing a six course meal, including some dutch favourites that made me want to hang up my camera and pull up a pew.

The speeches went without a hitch, and got a few good laughs along the way.

What struck both Paul and I was how attractive the guests were at this wedding, so friendly and open. I wish I could have posted lots more photos of y'all here - but alas then it wouldn't be a preview would it? :)
It was our absolute honour to be part of your day guys. We're looking forward to showing you the rest of the photos!
Anna and Tim had a fantastic day yesterday, everything was just perfect! Here's a quick photo to get started - I'll get some more on here tomorrow!

It was another beautiful sunny day in Blenheim yesterday! I knew Hannah was going to be a beautiful bride, but she positively glowed, even before she had her wedding dress on!

I love this shot Paul grabbed of Lance waiting for his bride down the aisle.

After the ceremony we went to a farm that has been in Hannah's family for 5 generations. Her veil belongs to her mother, and I made sure I made the most of the veil and wind combination!

And at Rarangi Beach the wind settled just long enough for us to have some cool shots.

It was a really great wedding, and both Paul and I had a lot of fun with these guys!
