A lazy Sunday afternoon, I have a bunch of new ideas and locations swimming around my head. So I take my enthusiastic and not-too-bad-looking friends out for a play.

See? I said enthusiastic!

And a bit of bright orange for good measure...

Then we went off to a little park and just hung out a bit.

Thanks guys, you were hot as usual - that was fun :)
This morning I did an engagement shoot with Tim, Anna and the adorable Seth. The morning started out rather frosty, but opened up into a beautiful day for us.
When I arrived, I jumped into their car and we shot around to Tim's parents place where the wedding will be held. Seth and I hung out in the back, and got to know eachother a bit.
As you can see, he's cute as a button!

It wasn't long before Seth made a bee line to Grandad's tractor shed! Absolute bliss...

The men, doing the 'guy thing'.

Tim and Anna are so friendly and easy going.

Obviously, I had to do a legs shot!

There are so many great places to take photos, I can't wait for the wedding!!

A perfect place for short and muddy people...

Thanks for today guys, it was great to get to know you a bit more. I can't wait to show you the rest!
Jema was one of my very best friends during my teenage years. She came back to Blenheim last week, and we saw eachother again after years apart. I wish we had more time together to do a proper session, but before she left I was able to spend a couple of minutes with her gorgeous little Ashley.

So cute!!

Today I was lucky enough to be able to photograph this beautiful young family. Ryan is just the cutest little guy, one of the most placid babies I've seen in a long time!
First we did some shots at home:

As long as he could watch his mobile, he didn't mind being in his cot at all!

Then we headed up to Harling Park, to take some more pics of them all together. I love this shot - the dog looks like she's part kangaroo!

Ryan just cracked up watching her!

I spied a sweet spot at the top of the hill - perfect! This will do just nicely!

Love the silhouettes!

I reckon this could be an album cover :)

My favourite photo of the day - safe with Mummy :)

There are a bundle more that I love also, I'll add a few more here as time allows. I hope you guys like the pics, can't wait to show you all of them!
So my sister's boy is all grown up - and getting married!! I'm sooo excited about photographing their wedding later in the year :) Although, I can't believe that I am the relative with a camera covering the day (shudder!) and Paul will actually be the uncle with the flash camera - there's one at every wedding, they are often referred to as 'Uncle Bob'.
Anywho, Dan and Bailey are just so gorgeous together. Bailey is a really sweet girl, well chosen Dan!
I had such fun this afternoon dragging them around the town. The weather was supposed to be thunder storming, but a window opened for us. So we ran with that!
I am loving this red wall....

Whenever it suits, I bring Emily or Kimberly to a photoshoot. It was Emily's turn, and she's dead keen on becoming a photographer as well, so I usually let her loose with the camera that she's holding for me.

This was one of her shots - not bad ey!

I actually think Emily shot this one too!

Checkin' out the engagment ring...

Check out the expression :) I'm trying to get them to pull a serious face.

I'm pretty sure he gets his good looks from his aunty...!

Thanks for today guys, it was great fun. I can't wait for your wedding!!
When Annabel called me to see if I could photograph her family while they had her in-laws staying from overseas, I had no idea how much I would enjoy meeting and shooting them! Eduard is my Dentist (thankfully he's a very very gentle dentist, or he may have ended up with some extra warts and wrinkles :))
We first met at Rarangi Beach, and although I thought there would be oodles of light at 3pm, turns out our time was extreamly limited. Gotta love winter.... we had fun though, and I think it was worth the rush for the pictures we got.

However, because the light ran out I was not truely satisfied that I captured this family as well as I know I could have. They seemed all too happy to go to Pollard park, and have another play a couple of days later.... I must admit, it really wasn't much like work to me. These guys are sooo nice, and even better they really really like eachother, which makes it so much easier to capture them together.

I can just keep looking and looking at this photo - the emotion in that split second.... ahhh.

I've been photographing the Belchers since well before they had such a big brood. We've done quite a bit of stock photography together, and it's an absolute blast seeing their photos turn up all over the place.
Obviously, I'm into the whole Autumn at the park theme right now, so we toodled off to the park for a play. It's not hard getting good shots of these guys, they're not a bad lookin' family :)

I love using this brick wall - and check out the little guy. Ohhhhh, ya just wanna squeeze him!

Thanks for the play guys, we'll do it again soon - a little earlier in the day so the sun doesn't set before we're done throwing the leaves around!
