All Photographic Work undertaken by the Photographer is subject to the Terms and Conditions set out below. By accepting the Contract, the Bride and Groom agrees to these Terms and Conditions. The Bride and Groom must ensure that any instructions and expectations regarding the wedding photography are agreed to in writing.
Copyright and Usage
The Bride and Groom have permission to make an unlimited number of copies and/or reprints of any images, or to reproduce the images for any non-commercial purpose, for personal use and distribution at no charge. Jessica Jones Photography Ltd retains copyright to all photographs and images taken. We make reproductions of these images for you, for online orders from your gallery and for our own portfolio, samples and self promotion.
We often get asked for images by your other wedding suppliers (eg. florist, dress maker, makeup artist, etc.) and will also supply these to them for use in their own marketing material unless you ask us not to. If you would prefer to keep your images private (ie. not displayed on social media and/or passed on to other vendors), please make note of this in the Description field on the previous page. We will also talk through this with you at a pre-wedding meeting, so if you change your mind you can let us know then as well.
Church, Reception, Venue Policies
The Photographer is limited by the guidelines of the minister, celebrant or reception site management. We will work to obtain the best possible images within any constraints.
Cancellation of Services
In the event that the wedding is cancelled, the deposit is non-refundable unless the date is able to be re-booked for another wedding. If the wedding is postponed, the deposit may be transferred to a new date, provided a suitable day can be rescheduled with the Photographer.
In the unlikely event that the Photographer is injured or becomes too ill to photograph the event, Jessica Jones Photography Ltd will endeavour to organise a suitable replacement photographer. If a replacement photographer is not available, we will refund all payments received for the event package.
Except as provided for by the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993, the Photographer will not be liable to the Bride and Groom for any costs, loss or damage suffered by them, however caused, arising out of or connected with the performance or failure of performance of photographic services supplied by the Photographer.
“Photographer” means Paul and/or Jessica Jones and any photographer or sub-contractor working with them to photograph the wedding. “Bride and Groom” means the client listed on this agreement.
